Description

Lakeside Medical Clinic has an opening for an Medical Administration Assistant to fill a one year term position.

Requirements for this position are:  
- a Diploma in Medical Administration Assistant or Office Administration Diploma combined with a Medical Terminology Certificate
- experienced with digital dictation equipment and Accuro software  
- a typing speed of 50 WPM with high percentage of accuracy.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting physicians with all required administrative duties which include, but are not limited to:
- transcription
- billing
- exam room assistance
- patient contact and co-ordination
- coverage in other clinic areas as required
- and other general office duties as assigned.
