General Labourer - Rail Yard Operations  Saskatoon, SK.

Our facility:

Located at 409 Packham Place Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7N 2T7, our facility sits on 10 acres served by CP Rail. We operate 32,000lb. capacity forklifts to transfer lumber, steel and other commodities that arrive at our facility by truck or rail to our valued customers. We currently have 5 working at this facility including the Division Manager and the Administrator. Job Summary:

The General Labourer will assist in the safe and efficient transfer of lumber, steel, and other commodities that arrive at our facility by truck or rail. We are looking for a General Labourer who has the ability to work outside in all weather conditions. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating a forklift as well as working on and off of the Railcars/Flat deck Trailers to unload/load the product.

You Possess:

A strong safety mindset
Previous relevant experience c/w forklift capacity of at least 22,000 lbs. is preferred.
Ability to climb ladders, work at elevated heights, Sling and Rig bundles for hoisting and lift 50lbs.
Experience loading and unloading lumber/ steel/ drywall from trucks or railcars is considered an asset
