Description

Responsibilities include:
-Responsible for full Cluff Lake and Midwest Joint Venture accounting and financial reporting cycle
-Conduct general accounting activities including:
o    Lease accounting under IFRS16
o    Posting general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month end activities
o    Intercompany accounting/invoicing
-Prepare and issue monthly billings
-Follow-up conformity and internal control processes:
o    Coordination of annual internal control review and corresponding audits
o    Preparation of annual ESTMA filings
o    Internal audit processes as the case may be
-Manage weekly payment run
-Maintain activity rates  
-Review and implement ongoing improvements to accounting processes
-Perform other related tasks as required
-Embrace and promote Operational Excellence and OE culture.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an asset
-Bachelor of Commerce Degree and/or significant accounting training and experience
-Excellent planning and organizational skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines
-Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize work effectively
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Cooperative and collaborative, able to work as part of a team
-Honest, ethical, and respects confidentiality
