RECREATION THERAPIST
(Life Enhancement Guide)
The Life Enhancement Guide will collaborate with the Holistic Care team to provide intervention that promotes the patients capacity for optimal psychosocial well-being; providing leadership in developing, implementing and evaluating recreation therapy interventions and programs that are meaningful and valued by patients, families, and the Interdisciplinary team; and representing Hospice at Glengarda in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Therapeutic Recreation Diploma
Recent Experience (1 year) in Therapeutic Recreation Program delivery
Creativity and enthusiasm in seeking opportunities for collaboration
Demonstrated commitment to resident directed philosophy is essential
