Pekiwewin House is seeking a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic Manager to lead the team in providing support, guidance and a welcoming family atmosphere for the youth who reside in the home. All team members must be living a healthy addictions free lifestyle, practice personal wellness, and promote utilization of First Nations traditions, ceremonies and practices in personal healing. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this full-time position is responsible for assuring the highest quality care and treatment for the youth who choose this independent supportive living program. This position will be responsible for the overall management of Pekiwewin House, which includes the areas of:
Leadership and Management
Operations Management
Human Resources Management
Financial and Risk Management
Community Engagement and Partnership
Accreditation & Policy Development
Clinical Supervision
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or Human Services AND one (1) year direct work experience; or a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) AND one (1) year direct work experience. Supervisory experience, facility management, project management would be all assets in this position.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, written, verbal communication skills and computer skills. Physical activity interests and any relevant trainings in working with youth (i.e., First Aid/CPR, ASIST and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training, Safe Food Handling) would be assets in this position.
