DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Location: Multiple Programs - Prince Albert area
Position: Casual
Closing Date: October 22, 2021
The Multiple Program Worker provides care and support to vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioural issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.
Education and Professional Certification
Completion of a high school diploma.
A certificate, diploma, or degree in child and youth care (CYC) or in a related field of study is an asset.
Experience
One (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioural, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
Skills and Characteristics
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to complete tasks independently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Services
Provide relief care and support to vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioural issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.
Maintain a therapeutic milieu.
Participate in the implementation of activity plans.
Safety
Maintain, promote, and reinforce safe work habits, practices, and procedures.
Additional Requirements/Information:
The successful candidate is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.
The successful candidate should also be aware this is a shift work environment including night shifts with prolonged sitting and 12-hour shifts in a 7-day week operation.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.99 to $22.02
