Description

Grace Christian School needs a Teaching Assistant to assist in supervising students' learning in all core subject areas in a mastery-based-individualized-learning environment.

Applicants must be practicing Christians with some post-secondary education and very strong English and Math skills. A minimum of two years of university or polytechnic education is preferred. Applicants should also possess excellent classroom management skills, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, and to work well with children in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment. Keyboarding skills are an asset, as is practical and demonstrable knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

Duties will include but not be limited to assisting in supervising students' learning in all subjects, and everything it entails (tutoring, scoring, correcting, examining, and reporting).
