The Position: The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission is looking for energetic and confident person to assume the role of Administrative Assistant in our Saskatoon office.
The Person: As the successful candidate, you will provide administrative support for the Chief Commissioner, Executive Director and the Executive Assistant to the Commission. Your interpersonal skills will be well suited to working in a team environment. You will have experience composing clear letters, memoranda, and minutes. You will have a good knowledge of, and practical experience using, a variety of word processing, data management, and financial accounting software. You will also have an understanding of The Saskatchewan Human Rights Code and Regulations. Your superior organizational skills will allow you to effectively balance thoroughness with efficiency.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position will be attained by the completion of Grade 12 plus a business college. Additionally, the successful candidate will have 2 years minimum recent experience as a personal administrative assistant. Candidates may be asked to complete a written exam as part of the interview process.
