Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Degree in Chemical Dependency studies or another Baccalaureate discipline (generally Social Sciences or Human Services) acceptable to the Employer
Eligibility for registration in corresponding professional association
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Knowledge of best practices in the addictions field and harm reduction strategies
Demonstrated skill in maintaining files and records  
Ability to develop, lead and maintain family-centered, integrated case teams, using Wraparound principles and including individuals from the clients' formal and informal support systems  
Ability to initiate, plan and conduct treatment groups and/or education for clients and in-service training for staff, caregivers, and other professionals  
Knowledge of community resources and the demonstrated ability to refer to, network, and work cooperatively with community agencies  
Liaise with, collaborate, and provide consultation services to staff and other agencies  
Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to cope effectively with stress, change, and diversity  
Knowledge of best practices in the mental health and addictions field and harm reduction strategies to be used with high-risk individuals and their families.
Strong working Knowledge of the Saskatchewan model of Recovery services and motivational assessment process.
Apply ethical, culturally sensitive and legal principles in practice with peer supporters and clinicians working with at-risk individuals and their families. This includes sound Knowledge of protocols an
