What you will be doing:
You will be planning a nutritious menu in accordance with the Canada Food Guide. Following your plan you will prepare supper meals for approximately 15-25 youth four days per week, as well as lunch and snacks for young families. You will purchase groceries on a weekly basis and maintain the kitchen. Your hours of work will be weekdays with shifts of 1 pm 6 pm for a total of 25 hours per week.
What you will need:
You are required to have education or experience in planning and preparing meals and a valid drivers license. Having your Safe food Handling Certificate would be an asset.
Who you are:
You are able to work independently as well as in a team environment. You are an effective communicator and enjoy supporting and instructing youth in the kitchen.
