Description

Responsibilities:
    Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions
    Planning, preparation and execution of financial statements with appropriate note disclosures
    Providing accounting services such as review and notice to reader engagements as well as analyzing and preparing personal, trust and corporate tax returns
    Bookkeeping and investment tracking for a corporate investment group
    Working closely with clients in different industries and sectors as well as colleagues to provide exceptional client service  

Qualifications:

    CPA designation completed or in progress (or equivalent)
    2-5 years experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting with a public accounting practice or Firm
    Experience with reviews and notice to reader engagements as well as analyzing and preparing personal, trust and corporate tax returns
    Proficiency with MS Office 2010 applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
    Working knowledge of TaxPrep, Caseware, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks software is considered an asset
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
    Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills
    Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax
