PCL Builders a division of PCL Energy is currently hiring experienced Carpenters for full time positions in the commercial buildings and civil projects sectors. PCL Builders is offering steady employment at competitive wages for projects located in Prince Albert and surrounding areas.

This position is based on a standard 40 hours work week with added overtime as required. Successful candidates will be able to work overtime, shift work, weekends and be available for projects out of town.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Construction, erection and install of wood and engineered formwork systems for columns, walls, suspended slabs, slab on grade and concrete stairs
- Build hoardings and temporary shelters
- Complete task hazard assessments and maintain a safe work environment
- General labour duties and cleanup as required
- May work with or near chemicals, cranes and moving equipment
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a valid Carpenters ticket, or have equivalent experience in commercial formwork
- Have previous work experience in rough carpentry, forming and framing
- Be in good health and physically fit
- Able to work at heights and balance on platforms, scaffolds and decks
- Able to work alone, or as part of a team
- Display good verbal and written communication skills when working with other employees
- Knowledge in trade related math and basic survey and layout
- Hardworking and able to readily accept and apply direction from supervisor
- Hand and finger dexterity for reaching, handling and feeling while working
