Within the Ministry of Immigration and Career Training, the Career Services Branch is seeking a creative, proactive and highly motivated professional for the position of Senior Program and Policy Advisor to provide leadership to the Branch's provincial delivery system through the design and development of strategic provincial programs for workforce development and settlement for residents of Saskatchewan. The position will also lead the development of strategies to address barriers to labour market participation experienced by under-represented groups such as youth, aboriginal, persons with disabilities, newcomers and others.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through: completion of a degree in social work, administration/commerce, public administration or related fields and/or at least three years related experience; and knowledge of broad social, economic, labour market and demographic trends and issues would be preferred.
