Description

The Williston Harbour Landing is a prestigious, independent retirement community that has 173 units. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician, to join our team!
A full-time role, responsible for overseeing all maintenance duties of the building & property, at The Williston.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of the operation & routine maintenance of all building systems & components relevant to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, fire panel systems, & other building system controls & mechanics
Knowledge of building safety practices.
Understanding & ability to quickly respond & deal with emergencies.
Skilled at using hand & power tools.
Capable to perform duties that involve heavy lifting.
Ability to coordinate professional contractors as needed.
Ability to work independently & use the best judgment on decisions & in coordination with the Executive Director.
With effective time management & communication.
Must be willing to be on call.
Criminal record check.
Responsibilities:
Ensure general upkeep and cleanliness of the property.
Ensuring the safety of the residents & staff.
A daily walk-around inspection.Report to the Executive Director
Monitoring of mechanical & building systems to ensure they are operational at all times.
Complete required checklists of maintenance systems & emergency/fire safety requirements.
Room turn completions and inspection sign-offs on vacant suites completed in a timely manner
All maintenance services requests are completed efficiently, for both the suites & the common areas as well.
Coordination & hiring of contractors & communicated & approved by the Executive Director.
Accurate record management & workspace organization are adhered to.
Review of maintenance-related invoices & filed for payment processing.
