Description

Away We Grow Child Care Centre in Melville, SK is currently seeking energetic, enthusiastic educators to join our team. We are currently seeking to 2 casual Early Childhood Educator positions. These positions offer the opportunity to advance to a part-time of full -time position as they become available.

Consideration will be given to applicants with no formal training provided they are willing to obtain ECE Level 1 Certification. ECE
Certification is available through Parkland College and education funding is available for those currently working in the child care field.  
The right person will have strong communication skills, a creative nature and interest in on-going learning and professional development. A wage scale is in place depending on education. A Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector  Check and Standard First Aid/CPR are also required.

Away We Grow Child Care Inc. is an inclusive child care centre offering care and education to children from 6 months - 12 years of
age.  We believe that children learn about the world through play, through active involvement with other children, adults, and materials.  Our program is child-centred and play-based.  Our curriculum is emergent.  We believe the educator's role is to create an environment that supports children's ideas and experiences and invites them to observe, be active, make choices, and experiment.  
We work together with children and families to create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment enriched through play-based curriculum, recognizing and promoting development according to each child's individual needs.
