Description

Looking for a site safety coordinator to work at Rocanville, SK. As site safety coordinator you will provide guidance to site personnel in all safety matters.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Construction Safety Officer or equivalent designation a requirement
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, and minimum 5-10 years experience in the construction industry (industrial background)
Work with clients and site personnel to develop, implement, and enforce safety standards
Adhere to and enforce Company and customer's policies and procedures as they apply to each project
Ensure training and PPE requirements are met for the project
Ensure field work is executed in compliance with OH&S regulations and applicable legislation
Review and advise on safety documentation and procedures (ie. Job hazard analyses, field level risk assessments, near miss reports)
Investigate incidents, communicate findings to Company and customers
Perform safety inspections and audits
Identify and implement initiatives to improve project performance, to achieve net improvements for key performance indices
Maintain clean driving abstract
Maintain a professional image and a high level of service with customers during all contact
Security screening and pre-access drug testing a requirement
