Job Description: The Family Outreach Coordinator represents SHA in facilitating relationship building between community programs, community members and the Saskatoon Early Years Family Resource Centre (SEYFRC). The SEYFRC is a supportive space where young children from prenatal to age 5 and their parents and caregivers can connect, learn and grow together in a safe and welcoming space. With expertise in early childhood education, the Family Outreach Coordinator works with the SEYFRC to develop and deliver responsive programming with a focus on the four program pillars of early learning, family wellness, parent education and referrals and community information sharing. Family Outreach Coordinator will support SEYFRC in providing opportunities for professional developments, and engages the team in meeting the goals of the strategic plan.
Required Qualifications

Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
Post-secondary bachelor degree preferably in education or social science
Experience
Minimum of five years experience in early childhood development and early childhood education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of community development processes and principles
Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for individual, small group and large group interaction
Knowledge of adult modes of learning principles and styles
Knowledge of Primary Health and the KidsFirst program
Ability to engage diverse family groups, including newcomer families, single parent families, prenatal mothers, multi-generational and LGBTQ2S+ families
Knowledge in play and place-based educ
