Local manufacturing firm is seeking an individual who will be a part of a growing sales team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the sales staff by helping with servicing customers and ensuring that customers needs are satisfied. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, career-oriented individual looking to grow within a local, medium sized organization.
Duties:
Selling products and/or services to meet customer needs:
Developing new business and insuring service to our existing clients
Fielding phone calls and providing related customer service
Assist walk-in customers by providing product / purchase advice, assisting with product pick-ups and drop offs, and consulting with customers on jobs.
Responsible for point of sale activities and payment activities in store.
Providing after sales support and service
Estimating or quoting prices and delivery dates
Must be able to communicate and generate customer goodwill through ability to carry on conversations and be a good listener
Assisting customers with loading and unloading of items
Picking orders
Maintaining inventory records
Qualifications:
Drafting experience an asset but not required
One to two years sales support / order desk related experience preferred
Possess a genuine desire to provide customer service
Computer experience is an asset; be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
Valid Class 5 Drivers License & clear drivers abstract
High level of commitment
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
The position requires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
