The Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre (FRC) in partnership with the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce invites applications for the following position:
* 0.65 FTE Early Years Family Resource Centre Facilitator (up to 26 hours/week)
Under the direction of the Moose Jaw Early Years Family Resource Centre Coordinator, the Facilitators would be responsible for:
* Work at the Early Years Family Resource Centre site creating a learning rich environment for families including drop in play and scheduled sessions with programming partners
* Plan, organize and/or facilitate age appropriate play-based learning for children and parents that reflect the stages of child developments including oral language skills, creative expressions, problem solving and emergent literacy and numeracy strategies through a virtual platform, curbside and in person.
* Follow the guiding principles and policies of the centre
* Carry out other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
* Early Childhood Education or suitable combination of education and experience
* Knowledge of child development and family interactions
* Broad knowledge of services available in the community
* Ability to work flexible hours, including regular business hours, early evenings and weekends
Other:
* Ability to take direction
* Team Player
* Ability to work independently when required
* Ability to follow the FRC Covid policies
* Valid criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

This is a Part Time Temporary Position covering a maternity leave - however this could lead into a Permanent Part Time position for the right candidate.
