Description

We are a growing medical clinic looking for an experienced medical receptionist. This position will provide an opportunity for growth for the right individual. This position will primarily work with a specialist, however, from time-to-time you may need to help cover for other physicians in the clinic. The ideal candidate is someone who constantly looks for ways to improve both themselves and the clinic.

Job Duties

* Managing the day-to-day operations for the clinic
* Training staff and physicians
* Answering phone calls (e.g., patients, health care workers, etc.)
* Triaging patient requests and concerns
* Scanning/filing health records and documents
* Scheduling patient appointments
* Managing physician schedules (e.g., meetings, clinic dates, call schedule, etc.)

Ideal Skills

* Familiarity with Accuro or other EMR program

Job Qualifications

* Must have experience working in a medical clinic or a be a recent graduate of a post secondary program with a focus in health care (e.g., medical office assistant, office education, medical terminology, etc.)
* Experience working with specialists and general practitioners.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and/or medical transcription would be an asset.

Wage: $19.00 to $33.00 per hour plus optional benefits. Wage depends on your specific qualifications and experience. Please indicate your experience, salary expectations and availability in your cover letter.
