You will be responsible for:
Mechanical services on petroleum delivery units.
Mechanical services and repairs on semi-trailer units such as suspension work, performing wheel alignments, troubleshooting, and repairing airbrake systems, and ABS systems.
Installing and troubleshooting truck mounted fuel management equipment including power take offs, pumps, and meters.
Installing and troubleshooting 12/24 V electrical truck and trailer components.
Testing and inspections required by Transport Canada on cargo tanks and associated equipment.
Operating, maintaining, and servicing steamer.
Preventative maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
Understanding and following department rules and regulations regarding equipment, tools and safety.
Other duties as assigned.
You have a valid high school education (or equivalent). Must be able to obtain a Class 3A drivers license.
You have a minimum of 1-2 years related experience. Welding experience with CWB GMAW flat certification is preferred.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday from 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM.
