Description

Stapleford Pharmacy is looking for a front store manager to join our team! This is a full time position with the hours occuring between 9am-6pm Monday to Friday.

This position would be responsible for overseeing the retail operation of the front store, while also acting as the head cashier.  Previous retail experience required.  Previous experience with Sask Lotto preferred.  

Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

- Oversee the front store retail operation of the pharmacy.

-Responsible for the management of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system used to manage the front store inventory and till transactions.

- Act as head cashier:  responsible for operating the till and ringing through all customer purchases.  Reconcile the till at end of day and prepare daily cash deposits.

- Look for ways to grow revenue and sales through promotions and bringing in new products.

- Provide customer service in the aisles:  help customers find the products they are looking for.

- Work with product vendors for ordering and managing front store products.

- Manage the front store inventory: Send and receive daily orders of product through our wholesalers using the POS. Place product on shelves, and maintain product in neat and orderly facing.  Manage expired products and returns on an as needed basis.

- Keep the front store in clean and orderly fashion:  Sweep and mop floors on a regular basis, dust shelves, and keep store free of clutter.

- Manage and oversee the operation of the Sask Lotto terminal:  sell and redeem lottery tickets to customers while abiding by all rules and regulations established by WCLC.

-Manage client charge accounts and aid in sending monthly statements and recording payments to said accounts.  Reconcile third-party payment accounts.
