Description

As a Media Advisor with Directwest, you will collaborate with business owners to develop effective marketing programs, which enable business owners to achieve their goals. Using your expertise, you will make strategic marketing recommendations that will enable business owners to successfully reach their target market.

Typical Duties Include:
Tele-markets and meets with customers to identify their business needs, their competitive environment and sales/service objectives.
Analyzes customers needs and recommends the necessary print and digital advertising programs.
Services accounts for consultation and changes to programs.
Prospects new customers.
Occasionally makes presentations to large groups of customers.
Prepares and presents sales proposals to customers.
Draws up scripts of customers per their needs and requests, maintaining absolute accuracy in detail.
Initiates and accurately completes all required forms, contracts, and ad layouts necessary for the fulfillment of the sale.
Maintains current, updated records of sales activities.
Responds, investigates, and resolves customer inquiries and complaints regarding all aspects of print and digital media.
Supports & assists other related sales groups in a team approach to provide Print and Digital Media expertise.
Other duties as assigned including, attend annual sales conference, host and attend customer events during and outside of work hours.
    
What you will bring:
Grade XII (Level 30), with post-secondary classes in Administration or Commerce and a minimum of two years proven success in Internet business related sales.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
Must be neat in appearance and wear proper attire.
Must have a valid drivers license.
