Description

Provide a safe and caring environment that promotes positive youth development, relationships and mentoring opportunities for youth 12-19 years of age.

Knowledge, experience and/or education of program planning and development, coordination and implementation

Knowledge of computers and related experience with Microsoft software

Skill in organizing work for self and others

Ability to be creative and flexible

Ability to problem solve and make decisions
Strong leadership and team qualities

Ability to work well with limited supervision.

Ability to provide supervision to youth and staff

Effective communication skills both orally and written

To work with other local organizations, agencies, and community partners as necessary, as well as utilizing community facilities and resources as necessary for the successful operation of programs.

Maintain information for the effective operation of programs and reporting requirements, including statistical data, financial information, including budgeting, membership documentation, and report preparation as required.

Minimum education: post-secondary related education, certification or equivalent with specific program-related experience.

Minimum one year experience in a programming and/or supervisory capacity

Monday-Friday  30-37.5 hours per week  hours will be varied as dependent upon evening programming. Will be discussed before starting. Field Hours

$20-$22/hr based on experience and education
Current certification in Standard First Aid/CPR-C

Valid class five drivers license.

Must provide a Criminal Record Check, with Vulnerable Sector Check, that has been completed within the last 30 days.
