The Business Analyst displays a high degree of originality and ingenuity and uses various business methodologies to devise new approaches to address customer and project requirements.

The Business Analyst develops and costs computing technology solutions for moderately complex client/business needs such as hardware, software, personnel, communications and facilities. The position is responsible for procurement, budgeting, forecasting and business case development.

Work involves moderately complex client/business needs and management of small to medium size projects. The position displays a high degree of originality and ingenuity in devising new approaches and makes independent decisions required in planning, organizing and completing assignments.

The position operates independently but may require direction in complex situations. The position coordinates with other projects to ensure efficient use of resources and may provide team leadership.

The position interprets customer needs and makes recommendations in area of specialization. The analyst assumes ownership of customer satisfaction and deals with customer management.
