Description

Brandt is currently looking for a Material Handling Lead Hand for our Agricultural Products Division.

Required Skills:

Ideal candidate would have an excellent understanding of how product flows through our shop
Organize and prepare work to meet the demands of the shift schedule
Knowledgeable in reading and understanding shop drawings
Familiar with all shop tools related to the job
Work closely with production supervisor, as well as all other departments
Maintenance of manual blaster and wheelabrator
Identify what the priorities are, and assign to employees as necessary
Ensure correct quantities are at the work cells when the runs are close to the end
Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and adhered to
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Experience:

Forklift and overhead crane experience an asset
Must be a team player, and a leader
Must be able to work shift work
Must be a self-motivator and be able to work alone
Must be a strong communicator
Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Must be able to manage several tasks at once
