As a result of continued growth, Brandt is are currently seeking a Material Processor Lead Hand for our Agricultural Products Facility in Regina, SK. The successful candidate will require a minimum of 3 years practical experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of the machine shop.
As a working lead hand you are responsible for supervision within the area as well as working to provide the product to the shop floor.
Scheduling manpower and meeting production demands.
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as automated saw, sheer, roll, and drill
Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments
Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

Required Skills:

Must be able to perform all machinist functions at an acceptable standard level
Must be able to read and understand shop drawings and blueprints
Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
