Description

Summary:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, Front End / Receiving, the Back Room Outfitter is responsible for accurately and effectively stocking merchandise to the sales floor and excess quantities in the stock room. This position supports back room standards and takes ownership of the sales floor presentation.

Responsibilities:
    Receives and prepares merchandise for entry into retail or warehouse stock
    Accurately stocks merchandise to the sales floor in the proper home locations following fill procedures
    Assure visual presentation standards are met by up-keep and maintenance of back room and sales floor to include, but not limited to restock, re-merchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed
    Perform replenishment tasks across departments including filling, folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, hanging, and locating items
    Respond and handle customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope
    Perform other duties as assigned by management and the team Lead

Qualifications:
Daytime availability required
    6 months or more of warehouse experience is preferred
    High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
    Skill in operating various warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hand lifts, and clothing carts
    Skill in operating various retail/office equipment including RF system, tagging machine, and computer terminal
    Ability to be forklift certified
    Ability to obtain or current Firearms P.A.L. license
    Ability to use good judgment and logic
    Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
    Knowledge of Cabela's products and procedures is an asset
