Description

Brandt Engineered Products is seeking a Millwright to join our Industrial Repair team in Regina, Sk. This position is responsible for assembly, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications
Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities
Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment
Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Prepare electronic inspection and service reports
Train and mentor apprentices and other staff on Industrial Repair practices

Required Experience:

Ten years practical experience in the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic trade
Journeypersons certificate from a recognized trade school is an asset
Technical training on maintenance and repair activities of CNC processing equipment is an asset
Technical training on maintenance and repair activities of overhead gantry cranes is an asset
Must have solid working knowledge of mechanical drives and assemblies
Have an excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as pumps and gearboxes
Successful candidate should be available to work overtime and on customer sites
Proven ability to lead a team of skilled mechanics in a shop or customer site environment
Proven experience working alongside and communicating with high-profile customers
