Description

The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for a number of part time non-permanent Concession Worker positions ready to work during our upcoming busy fall and winter event season.

This position provides customer service in the sale and preparation of food items at the Art Hauser Centre, Kinsmen Arena, Kinsmen Water Park, Steuart Arena, and Alfred Jenkins Field House for events such as Raider games, tournaments and other functions within these facilities. Shifts available will include days, evenings and weekends.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve patrons at various venues.
- Prepare food items, including cooking, baking, portioning and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist in inventory control and restock items for sale.
- Open and close work site as directed.
- Complete daily deposit procedures as directed.

Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent; or
- 14 years of age if a full-time continuing student. If under 16 years of age, must complete the Young Worker Readiness certification
- Must be willing to attain the Public Health Food Services certificate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and the equipment needed to prepare food.
- Ability to handle cash and balance funds received.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work shifts, evenings and weekends, as required.
