Description

Reporting to the Manager of IT Operations, (SNSS) the Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible with providing technical expertise and leadership on the corporations cross-platform network and security practices. Working with other IT operational staff and business customers, the Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all incidents are diagnosed and resolved in a timely manner. In addition, the Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible to ensure that all network and security infrastructure is designed, implemented and managed in an efficient way to meet the needs of the business. Information security management  The Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible to take the lead of the assessment of the security profile of the technology environment and the implementation of measures to protect the informational assets from threats.
Mentoring and escalation  The Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible to provide escalation support and mentorship to other members of the operational technology team, project delivery teams and other business departments.
Business continuity management  The Senior Network and Security Specialist, working with other members of the technical operation teams, is responsible for implementing and testing business continuity measures relating to information technology.
Contribute to the delivery and development of Technology Program  Working with the IT project delivery team. The Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible to take a technical leadership role in the development and implementation of IT-related projects and service requests. In addition, the Senior Network and Security Specialist is responsible to develop, maintain and implement aspects of the operational technology roadmap.
