Description

Position Overview:  
The successful candidate will join SAMAs Assessment Services Division (ASD) as an Administrative Assistant in this permanent, full-time position.  Reporting to the Executive Assistant of the Assessment Services Division, the incumbent will perform various administrative duties and data entry.  

Responsibilities:
    Perform and assist with a variety of reception duties such as:
o    Greet clients and visitors and answer central office phone lines
o    Process incoming and outgoing courier packages
o    Organize, receive, and process boardroom booking requests
    Perform data entry into the Agency's computer system.
    Perform other administrative duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Attention to detail
    Ability to work independently
    Strong skills with Microsoft Office and its software (Word, Outlook, Excel)
    Proficient keyboarding/data entry skills
    Good communication skills
    Good interpersonal skills

Required Professional Designations/Certification:
    High School Diploma (although preference may be given to post-secondary education in office education/administration);
    Six (6) months administrative-related experience.
