Must be able to work with a tan-door oven to make Indian breads, kebab and tandoori chicken.
Have ability to be cross-trained in all areas of kitchen
Knowledge and background about Indian Cuisine is considered an asset
Prepare and cook complete Indian cuisine meals on a daily basis
Help other cooks in the kitchen by instructing cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and
presentation of food
Prepare special menu items & prepare dishes for every days buffet with food allergies or
intolerance
Demonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end to end food production
Monitor food consumption to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and minimum wastage following
our standard recipes. Monitor food temperatures according to health and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including but not limited to tables, shelves,
counters, grills, fryers, burners, ovens, flat top range and refrigeration equipment
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
