Description

Mosquito School is looking for a temporary committed Teacher to complement our qualified workforce of educators. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the Saskatchewan Provincial Curriculum from date of hire in October until February 17th/22.
The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a trusting relationship. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process by incorporating land-based activities into the students learning.

Requirements:
    Proven experience as a teacher
    Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
    Well-organized and committed
    Creative and energetic
    Strong moral values and discipline
    B.Ed. Degree
    Knowledge of First Nation culture would be an asset
    Exhibit a positive Professional Ethics

Responsibilities:
    Nurture, support and guide young learners
    Prepare engaging lessons and interactive learning opportunities by incorporating land-based learning activities with clear outcomes and indicators the follow the Saskatchewan Curriculum
    Conduct formal and informal assessment of students
    Incorporate appropriate technology and media into lesson planning
     Participate in extra-curricular activities
    Support families with open and ongoing communication
    Promote and maintain high standards of behavior, respect and safety in and out of the classroom setting
