Under the supervision of the Manager of Judicial Programs, CSO/FO Caseworker will be responsible for registering and monitoring client files and creating and maintaining a positive first impression for John Howard Society clients, staff and public and support the Fine Options Program.
Duties:
- Utilize communication skills to ensure a positive image of the John Howard Society in the community through excellent reception skills
- Interview all program applicants
- Locate appropriate job placements, ongoing monitoring of those placements & the appropriateness of the placement agency
- Provide such reports, records, billing, statistics & budget information as may be required by the program criteria
- Maintain confidentiality
- Perform other duties of a related nature as assigned
Qualifications (Combination of):
- University Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Work experience in an administrative of role for minimum 1 year
- Work experience in working with community partners, court & Justice partners for a min. 1 year
- Compliance with the designated Risk Management policies of the National John Howard Society
Demonstrated track record of quality customer service
- Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft suite of programs
- Valid Drivers License
