Responsibilities:
-Responsible for oversight of all material receiving, warehousing and inventory management activities
-Manage a team of 11 personnel
-Maintain close liaison with Saskatoon procurement, site maintenance and operations personnel
-Monitor and manage the Inventory Authorization system, and pursue the development of system improvements
-Develop, analyse and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-Directly responsible for inventory optimization and reduction initiatives, including actively monitoring for slow moving & obsolete stock, working with stakeholders as required
-Serves as the McClean Lake liaison with all levels of the Orano Supply Chain Management Groups on inventory-related topics, participating in monthly and quarterly meetings
-Periodically review and assess site warehousing practices
-Provide support for annual inventory financial audits
Skills and Qualifications:
-A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation with a diploma in Supply Management from the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) or related professional degree is preferred
-Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse operation and inventory management
-Strong fundamental knowledge in Inventory Management systems
-Knowledgeable in SAP ERP system with proficiency in Materials Management
-Knowledge in Financial and Preventative Maintenance modules is an asset
-Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Core project management skills and detail-oriented
-Familiar with Operational Excellence(OE) culture and experienced in the use of OE tools is considered an asset
-Capacity to anticipate stakeholder requirements to avoid operational disruptions
