This is an hourly position with benefits. Bi-weekly pay periods.
Position Description:
Working closely with the Board of Directors, the Development Officer is responsible for all aspects of organizing and implementing fundraising initiatives, as well as donor & volunteer management. Duties will include managing related databases, shelter website and social media.
This position will develop and implement all communications, internal and external, related to each initiative and event.
The Development Officer will be responsible for developing, administering and remaining within budget parameters for their areas of responsibility, as well as collecting and analyzing statistical information for various reports in order to assist in the development of future fund raising events and volunteer management.
The position is a 20 hour work week, requiring a flexible work schedule to accommodate some evening and weekend hours for meetings and fund-raising events.
