Description

The successful candidate must possess:

Cell phone with GPS (Cell phone allowance provided)
Steel toed safety boots
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
A valid class 5 drivers license
A criminal record check & a clean drivers abstract
Effective written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of basic mathematics



Duties/Responsibilities:

Sort freight (Unload & load freight between trucks)
Takes direction well from others, communicates professionally with customers & co-workers
Driving company vehicles making deliveries/pickups
Transport loads safely following the rules of the road and representing the company to the highest standards
Capable of driving 1, 3 & 5 ton trucks
Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise
Verify load security and accuracy
Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures
Other duties as assigned by management
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
