JOURNEYPERSON DIVISION CARPENTER

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 requires a talented, ambitious and self-motivated Journeyperson Carpenter for residential and commercial buildings; must work independently and with other team members; must be trustworthy, have good finishing carpentry skills; must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

This position is a permanent full-time position based out of La Ronge and will require travel throughout the division.  The successful candidate will be required to perform scheduled and emergency repairs at schools and housing units.

Candidates must have a Saskatchewan Journeyperson carpentry ticket and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.  Consideration will be given to carpentry apprentices with at least 4 years of experience and the understanding that journeyperson status will be obtained in a timely manner. The successful candidate must have a Class 5 drivers licence with a G endorsement with the ability to pull a heavy trailer.

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 offers the following:  competitive base wage, shift schedule varies depending on position, paid for benefits package (i.e. vision/dental/health), sick leave entitlements, tool allowance and mileage paid.
