Establish and maintain excellent relationships with families and school teams;
Ability to work independently and be self motivated;
*Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting to school administrators;
Work collaboratively with schools and families to ensure student success;
Assist the school in the planning, development and implementation of EYE (Early Years Evaluation);
Deliver interventions/strategies as set out by the school teams;
Assist students with the key areas of development by supporting social and emotional need/skills;
Understands the goals for EYE assessment and data collection, and EYE assessments in the home and at school;
Understands each child and their familys specific needs and plans for successful outcomes;
Understands the moral imperative to report suspected child abuse of CFS/RCMP;
Use engaging exercises and games to support young children;
Connect children/families with school and other service providers (ECIP, KFN, etc);
Create activity packages, establish relationships with families, and monitor home visits;
Have a good understanding of what risk factors are;
Key areas of development: physical, cognitive, and behavioral;
Reporting keeping accurate records for reports;
