Description

SUMMARY
Be part of the dynamic hotel team operating one of Saskatchewans most successful hotels. This position supports the Food and Beverage team at Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa. Working five evenings a week training will be provided to allow the successful candidate to fulfil Manager On Duty tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the good management of the F&B team; focus on guest satisfaction, employee engagement and profitability
Assist with training, and leading F&B team; Restaurant, Banquets
Assists with performance reviews, progressive discipline, ongoing feedback and development of hotel associates
Read and understand Banquet Event Orders, communicating details and executing events with excellence
Ensure that associates are fully informed with up-to-date information
Communicate and coordinate with other departments within the hotel
Perform Manager on Duty tasks as required
Point of contact in event of an emergency
Participate in Employee Satisfaction Survey action plans
Other duties as reasonably assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous exposure to F&B supervision or management is essential Previous F&B operations experience of at least 2 years
Preference for candidates who demonstrate long term commitment to the hospitality industry; either by educational achievement or by service
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and administrative ability
Squirrel/Micros experience preferred
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Commitment to the hotel values; Integrity, Respect for co-workers and workplace, Loyalty
Ability to occasionally work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
