Southeast College is currently recruiting for a part-time enthusiastic and knowledgeable Journeyperson Hairstylist to join the College faculty.

Instructing from the state-of-the-art Weyburn Teach n' Trim salon, the ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent  
2. Journeyperson Hairstylist in Saskatchewan or Red Seal
3.  2 years recent/relevant post Journeyperson experience
4. Effective Communication Skills (written & oral)
5. Effective interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrates valuing diversity
7. Adult instruction experience is an asset
8. Functional knowledge of on-line tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for instructional purposes
9. Experience owning or managing a salon would be an asset
10. Some overnight travel for orientation classes will be required

Contract Term
Start Date: December 2, 2021
End Date: August 16, 2022

Number of contract days over the contract term: 90-92

Instructional salary is based on the current SGEU instructional grid and commensurates with education and experience.
