Wadena Elementary School requires a full-time (1.0 FTE) Educational Assistant and this permanent position will commence as soon as possible.

Salary and benefits are per the current CUPE #4799 Agreement. The hours of work will be 6 hours and 10 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Duties:
Role of the Educational Assistant as outlined in Administrative Procedure 485
Providing academic, developmental and social support for students with academic and behavioral issues

Qualifications:
Experienced and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students with academic and behavioral issues
Strong interpersonal and communications skills are perceived as definite assets in this assignment
Possess a valid driver's license (so that transportation for students with diverse needs can be accommodated where needed)
