Description

You will be responsible for the processing and preparation of internal and external financial reporting for SecurTek. Responsible for all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reconciliations.  Responsible for cashflow management and forecasting.  Performs analysis and identifies key financial issues and recommends appropriate solutions in a proactive manner including the development of practices and procedures.

Typical Duties
-Responsible for creation and compilation of internal and external financial reporting.
-Responsible for creating, reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts monthly, quarterly and annually.
-Responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
-Assist with development, enhancements and implementation of systems by providing information, analyzing alternatives, and assisting with testing.
-Assists with providing internal department employees with financial information and interpretation.
-Responsible for audit preparation including overall data integrity and clear financial reporting processes.
-Responsible for monthly cashflow analysis and forecasting.
-Responsible to ensure that all accounting finance activities align with appropriate accounting guidelines and adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
-Assists with other finance related duties and contributes to special projects as required.
-Will be cross trained with other Financial Analysts to provide sufficient finance coverage.

Qualifications
-Two-year diploma in accounting and two-years experience working in a financial environment.
-Working knowledge of financial / statistical analysis techniques and terminology.
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-Ability to meet rigid timelines.

As per the Government of Saskatchewan Crown employees must be fully vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test every 7 days.
