Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in Early Childhood Education? Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECIP)- Regina Region is seeking a temporary Consultant to fill one of openings at our growing Regina office.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The Early Childhood Consultant shall have the following qualifications:

- A recognized professional degree or diploma related to the field of early childhood development.

- Must have a valid drivers license and the use of a reliable vehicle. (All travel will be compensated at government rates)

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

- Must have a minimum level of CLB 7 for English Language in all four (4) language categories

Please note: A criminal record check with vulnerable sector must be completed prior to hire

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, implement and model programming to children 0-6 years old with their caregivers in their homes, centers, outdoors and/or virtually

2. Provide information and resources to caregivers in order to support children to increase their independence, engagement and social relationships in everyday routines

3. Provide support to families to meet their identified goals for their child and family, increase their knowledge regarding their childs strengths and needs, and empower families to have the confidence to advocate for their children

4. Connect the family and child to necessary services or supports in their community

5. Conduct child development screenings and assessments

6. Communicating regularly with the Supervisor to discuss progress of each child
