Brief description of position and responsibilities:
The human resource administrative assistant (HRAA) is accountable to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic executive assistant to the AVP, human resources (EA to the AVP, HR) to provide administrative support to the four human resource directors. This position acts as the initial point of contact for inquiries and requests into the area of human resources and has considerable interaction with a variety of internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Located at one of four campuses in Saskatchewan, the HRAA reports directly to the EA to the AVP, HR. This position supports the administrative needs of the four human resource directors, including support to other members of their portfolios such as managers and consultants.
Qualifications for the position:
A human resource diploma or education and experience equivalent to a diploma is required. An ability to demonstrate a high level of computer literacy, be willing to learn new programs and have intermediate knowledge of current MS Office software.
