AGI Westeel has an opening for a Metal Fabrication Production Worker to join our dedicated and supportive production team.
A leading supplier of the highest quality fuel storage products, AGI Westeel Tisdale provides a safe, reliable and fast-paced work environment. This is a full-time position which requires:
Proven ability to work safely in an industrial setting
Prior experience in cutting metal
An understanding of blueprints, specifications, measuring techniques and drawings
The use of breaks, saws, shears, iron workers, and pipe benders accurately and independently
Ability to recognize and differentiate various metals used during fabrication
Forklift operation
Monitoring steel inventory to ensure minimum supply is always available
Evaluation of regular maintenance for cutting equipment
Operating machinery in the preventative maintenance program
Effective oral and written communication
Exemplary attendance record
