Description

The YMCA of Regina Before & After School Program is hiring for the fall.
We are committed to providing quality childcare for children in grades 1 to grades 8, Monday to Friday at participating schools throughout the city of Regina.

Are you up for the challenge?
As YMCA of Regina Before and After School Program Staff, you will be expected to, but shall not be limited to:
Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, develop and explore, through the full implementation of our curriculum, A Place to Connect.
Lead and engage groups of 10-15 children by implementing daily programming activities.
Promote teamwork and open communication with parents and the Director of School-Based Programs.  
Read, understand and comply with all YMCA of Regina policies and procedures, including Child Protection and A Place to Connect.
Participate in all training as required.

Requirements:
Must be available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, 6:45 am to 9:45 am & 3:15 pm to 6:15 pm, and have a willingness to work in various locations throughout the city of Regina.
First Aid/CPR would be ideal but can be taken within the first 3 months of hire date.
Must provide a current (no older than 3 months from date of hire) criminal record check, including vulnerable sector check, prior to employment offer.
Have a basic understanding of child development and behavior management.
