Reporting to the Senior Director, Market Intelligence, your role will be to work directly with Saskatchewan exporters to analyze and identify their research and intelligence needs and perform activities designed to advance the interests of Saskatchewan exporters through the provision of timely, accurate information on international markets and opportunities. Your effective communication (written and verbal) and research skills will help you to work within the STEP organization, as well as with member companies and international contacts. This position will provide research on markets across a wide variety of sectors, but will have a primary focus on research surrounding the technology, services and resources sectors.
The following skills are necessary to excel within this position and deliver actionable research and intelligence to Saskatchewan exporters, industry partners and the export community:
Required qualifications:
- Excellent English language communications skills (verbal and written).
- University degree in commerce, business administration, marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the areas of marketing, market research and analysis.
- One to two years of recent and relevant experience, preferably in the field of international market research and intelligence gathering.
- General knowledge of the economic base and the exporting capabilities of Saskatchewan companies.
