Brandt is currently seeking a Manager - Product Validation for our Regina, SK location. Under the direction of the Director of Product Design, the Manager of Product Validation is responsible to ensure necessary FEA activity occurs on an appropriate schedule to validate design proposals, to determine, implement and execute suitable physical testing protocols to validate the performance of products, and to consolidate a database of Design Criteria for Brandts various product families.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee the application of FEA to design models to ensure that applied load cases are representative of real world conditions and executed on a timely basis.
Develop risk mitigating test strategies and test plans that allows products to be efficiently and effectively delivered to the marketplace.
Schedule, co-ordinate, oversee and execute the orderly testing of products.
Validate the FEA analysis through data acquisition focusing on load case and critical area study.
Create and consolidate database of verified real-world Design Criteria for Brandt product families.
Obtain certifications, licenses, and other company qualifications or needs to execute test plans.

Required Experience:

Professional Engineer or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Grad with 5+ years experience.
Extensive practical experience in product testing and data acquisition technology.
Mechanical Background. Ability to operate trucks, tractors, farm equipment, and/or construction equipment a definite asset.  Class 1 Drivers license an asset.
Familiarity with SolidWorks and FEA analysis.
